He believe that unless we innovate and find better methods to make our cities and lives climate resilient in India. He believes if we can’t assure clean air, pure water and zero garbage lifestyles to everybody, our growth and development trajectories are mostly meaningless.Ameet

- Formerly associated with ex-President of NGT Western Zone Bar Association and Ashoka Fellow Adv Asim Sarode, followed by the Right Livelihood Award winning organization 'Legal Initiative for Forest and Environment' (LIFE), Maitreya now manages his independent environmental law practice focusing on pro-conservation and rights based litigation.
- Maitreya is also a freelance reporter working with Land Conflict Watch, a research agency tracking natural resource disputes across India.

With a focus on challenging environmental violations and advocating for stronger regulatory enforcement, she specialize in litigation to hold corporations and governments accountable for their environmental impacts.
